Ten train track layouts worth building, with the pieces you need
These are the layouts the planner was taught from: the pictures on the boxes, the woodenrailway.info track guide and the layout sheets woodentracks.com publishes for Maxim sets. Each one has been laid out in exact geometry and checked to close and lie flat. Open one and the planner shows the build order, lets you ride it, or lets you change it.
Oval
Where everyone starts. Twelve curves, four straights, the 10874 box. Pieces: 4 straights, 12 curves.
Oval with two sidings
Two sidings off the oval, one to each side, from the back of the 10882 box. Pieces: 5 straights, 22 curves, 2 points, 2 buffer stops, 1 level crossing.
Cargo oval with sidings
