Which LEGO DUPLO train sets come with track, and how much
LEGO publishes piece totals for its sets but not what the track pieces are, so the counts below were taken from the set inventories on Brickset and BrickOwl and only recorded where two sources agree. They are the counts the planner uses when you pick a set.

What changed in 2025
- The rails are unchanged: the straight and curve moulds have been the same since 1987.
- The action-brick straights, with plates on one side or both, are 128 mm straights like any other. The planner counts them as straights.
- The bridge in 10426 is a new mould in four parts but runs the same 1024 mm, eight straights, as the 10872 bridge.
- The new ramp in 10425 and 10428 is a short piece, about 96 mm, against the 256 mm hill ramp of 10875.
Older, dark grey track
Sets from before 2018 use the same moulds in a darker grey, but their curves do not close cleanly into a circle and the bridge parts differ. The planner lists them and marks them as old track: 10506 Train Accessory Set, 10508 Deluxe Train Set, 10507 My First Train Set, 10810 Push Train.
What the counts mean for a layout
Twelve curves make a loop, so any set with twelve or more can close a circle on its own. Points are only useful with somewhere for the spare arm to go, which is why 10882 comes with two buffer stops. The planner turns a set number into its pieces and shows every layout that box can make, so the quickest way to compare two sets is to pick each and count the plans.
